Okay, this is kind of wild.

People in San Francisco can’t sleep.

Why? Tesla owners blasting music at a Supercharger lot.

At 3 AM.

I’m not making this up.

From the Daily Mail:

“Locals living near a Tesla charging lot in San Francisco say they are being kept awake by ‘arrogant’ owners blasting music and getting into heated arguments over spots.”

The lot is on Lombard Street.

And according to neighbors, it turns into a party every night.

Weekends are the worst. Friday through Sunday. Midnight to 5 AM.

One resident named Calsoni talked to SFGATE about it.

“It’s the bass,” she said.

The thumping bass from car speakers shakes her walls.

Every. Single. Night.

Videos confirm the chaos. People arguing over charging spots. Music blaring. Horns honking.

All while neighbors try to sleep.

From SFGATE:

“Weekends — Friday through Sunday from midnight to 5 a.m. — are the worst times, when thundering music blasts while the Teslas charge up.”

Calsoni filed a complaint with the city on February 2nd.

She also reached out to the local police captain for help.

So far? Not much has changed.

Here’s my take:

This isn’t really a Tesla problem.

It’s a people problem.

Any parking lot with cars at night could have this issue. Doesn’t matter if it’s Teslas or Hondas.

Some people are just inconsiderate.

But Tesla gets the headline because… well… Tesla.

Still, it raises a fair question. Should Supercharger lots have quiet hours?

Some kind of noise rules?

Might help neighbors sleep better.

Teslas have great sound systems. We know this.

Maybe too great for 3 AM in a residential area.

Just… be considerate, folks. Charge your car. Keep the music reasonable. Don’t fight over spots.

It’s not that hard.

Have you ever experienced problems at a Supercharger lot? Do you think Tesla should do something about late-night noise?
